WINNIPEG – Two members of the Winnipeg Police Service have tested positive for COVID-19.

Both officers work out of Central Division which is at the downtown headquarters building at 245-Smith Street.

They worked in the area from Friday, October 16th to Tuesday, October 20th.

Public health officials are investigating and any close contacts will be notified.

Cops are required to wear face masks when dealing with the public but people are urged to consider online options when reporting a crime.
