WINNIPEG – The province is reporting two deaths today from COVID-19, one of them in Winnipeg.

There are 166 new cases of the virus, including 47 in Winnipeg.

3,526 cases are active, 25,095 people have recovered, for a total of 29,446 cases so far.

275 Manitobans are in hospital right now, 39 of them in the ICU.

The five day test positivity rate in the province is 7.3 per cent. Winnipeg’s rate is 4.4. 1,946 tests were done in the last 24 hours for a total of 475,748 since the pandemic began.

The death toll now sits at 825.
