2 Deaths, 261 Cases

WINNIPEG – The province is reporting two deaths today from COVID-19, one of them in Winnipeg.

There are also 261 new cases of the virus, including 75 in Winnipeg. Cases in the Northern Health Region have spiked to 139.

2,866 cases are active, 23,313 people have recovered, for a total of 26,954 cases so far.

290 Manitobans are in hospital right now, 37 of them in the ICU.

The five day test positivity rate in the province is 10 per cent. Winnipeg’s rate is 7.1. 2,333 tests were done in the last 24 hours for a total of 446,018 since the pandemic began.

The death toll now sits at 755.
