2 Deaths, 58 Cases

WINNIPEG – The province is reporting two deaths today from COVID-19, one of them in Winnipeg.

There are 58 new cases of the virus, including 24 in Winnipeg and 25 in the north.

1,180 cases are active, 29,322 people have recovered, for a total of 31,386 cases so far.

208 Manitobans are in hospital right now, 31 of them in the ICU.

The five day test positivity rate in the province is 5.3 per cent. Winnipeg’s rate is 4.1. 2,024 tests were done in the last 24 hours for a total of 512,566 since the pandemic began.

The death toll now sits at 884.
