WINNIPEG – Manitoba’s vaccine task force says people over 95 can start getting vaccinated next week. Right now, only seniors in congregated living facilities are eligible to get inoculated.
The task force has also announced two new supersites in Selkirk and Morden-Winkler which will open in the first week of March. The plan is to have 13 supersites in place by April.
The province is about half way to its goal of being able to vaccinate 20,000 people a day, a goal it hopes to reach by April. So far, only 56,707 doses of the vaccines have been administered in Manitoba.
