A 20 Year-old woman was shot while sitting in her car late last night.

At about 11:40 pm on highway 231 in Gimli a woman from Armstrong was shot. She was taken to the hospital with life threatening injuries and later died.

Police arrested a 23 year-old man and have him in custody. They are not searching for any other suspects and do not believe that it is gang or domestic related.
