A 21 -year-old taxi driver was the victim of carjacking last night.

On November 20 at about 8:00 pm. a 21 year-old man was driving two passengers in his taxi when one of the men took out a sharp object and demanded money from him. The driver gave him everything he had and the suspects drove away in his cab leaving him on the street.

Air1 was called in and located the stolen taxi in an alley on Cathedral Avenue where it had collided with a fence. The suspects had left the vehicle.

One male suspect is described as Indigenous, 20-25 years of age, approximately 5’5″ in height with a thin build.

The second suspect male is described as Indigenous, approximately 5’10” in height with a thin build.
