22-Year-Old Woman Arrested for Spring Robberies

WINNIPEG – Police arrested and charged a 22-year-old woman in connection with numerous incidents committed over the spring in Winnipeg.

Police say on two separate occasions, one on May 24th and again on May 27th the woman knocked on the door of a home and asked the homeowners for help. Once allowed inside the woman stole money and keys from the house.

On both occasions the accused returned a short time later and stole the victim’s vehicles.

Kayla Ivy Chaske has been charged with various offences including Break & Enter, Theft Under $5,000, and Theft of Motor Vehicle.
