WINNIPEG – A 22-year-old woman is in hospital in stable condition and a 23-year-old woman died after being stabbed early Saturday morning.

Flin Flon RCMP said they responded to an altercation that was where the two women were stabbed on Bellevue Avenue. The first victim, a 23-year-old woman from Flin Flon, was taken to hospital where she later died from her injuries. The other woman, a 22-year-old, also from Flin Flon, was taken to hospital in stable condition.

Police said Faith Margaret Rose Linklater, 23, from Flin Flon, has been charged with one count of second degree murder and one count of attempted murder.
