LAC DU BONNET – RCMP are investigating the drowning of a 23-year-old woman on Sunday.

Mounties said they responded around 5:45 PM to an address on McArthur Avenue in the RM of Lac Du Bonnet for a possible drowning.

When officers arrived, they found several people performing CPR on an unresponsive 23-year-old woman who had been pulled from the water.

RCMP said the woman was pronounced dead at the scene.

The RCMP along with the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner continue to investigate.
