BRANDON, MB – Brandon police charge a 46-year-old with impaired driving and a 24-year-old female who refused to leave a bar.
Tuesday around 3:20 a.m., Police stopped a vehicle in the 900 Block of Dennis Street. The female driver of the vehicle displayed signs of impairment and was taken to the Police Service building. Breath samples obtained were in excess of double the legal limit. The 46-year-old female from Brandon was arrested for Impaired Driving and Drive Over 80 mg%.
At approximately 8:40 p.m. on Monday, Police received a report of a stolen vehicle from the 300 Block of 23rd Street. The owner of the vehicle left the vehicle to warm up, unlocked and parked on the street. The stolen vehicle is a 2010 Black Ford Escape with Manitoba license plate HSZ 640.
Police received a report of a man passed out in the hallway of a downtown hotel. Officers located the man who was found to be on a Court Order with a condition to abstain from the consumption of alcohol. The 49-year-old man from Brandon was arrested for Breach of Court Order and lodged at the Brandon Correctional Center to appear in Court on Tuesday.
Monday around 11:00 p.m., an employee of a downtown bar called Police reporting an intoxicated female refusing to leave and causing problems. Police located the female who continued to cause problems and refused to leave. The 24-year-old female from Brandon was arrested under the LGCA for Being Disorderly in a Licenced Premises and lodged at the Correctional Center to be released when sober.
