Portage la Prairie, MB. – A 24-year-old man is in stable condition after Portage la Prairie RCMP found him suffering from stabbing wounds.

RCMP said, around 4AM on Thursday, December 14 officers responded to a stabbing at an apartment complex on 3rd Street South-West.

When they arrived they found a 24 year old man in the apartment that had been stabbed. He was transported to hospital in stable condition.

A 27-year-old female, from Portage la Prairie, has been arrested in connection to this stabbing and remains in police custody. Charges are pending.
