NORWAY HOUSE – A 27 year-old man from Norway House has been charged with manslaughter after a 54 year-old man died on March 30.

RCMP were called to a home at 12:20 pm and came across a man who was in medical distress. He was taken to the nursing station where he later succumbed to his injuries.

RCMP have arrested and charged 27-year-old Dakota Walker, from Norway House, with manslaughter in relation to this incident and have remanded him into custody. He will be appearing in Thompson Provincial court later today.

The Norway House RCMP along with assistance from the RCMP Major Crime Services and the Thompson Forensic Identification Section continue to investigate.
