WINNIPEG – The province is on the verge of postponing some second shots of the COVID-19 vaccine.
Because of supply disruptions from Pfizer, no new appointments are being made at the Winnipeg and Brandon supersites.
Dr. Joss Reimer says they hope to know more by Friday about an expected shipment on February 8th.
However, regardless of whether that shipment happens or not, Reimer promises enough vaccine will be set aside to ensure all consenting personal care home residents get both doses within a few weeks.
Also, Manitoba’s vaccine priority list will be released on Wednesday.
