3 Deaths, 216 cases

WINNIPEG – The province is reporting three deaths today from COVID-19, all of them in Winnipeg.

There are 216 new cases of the virus, including 50 in Winnipeg. Cases in the north continue to spike with 118 today.

3,372 cases are active, 24,307 people have recovered, for a total of 28,476 cases so far.

266 Manitobans are in hospital right now, 34 of them in the ICU.

The five day test positivity rate in the province is 9.8 per cent. Winnipeg’s rate is 6.5. 1,836 tests were done in the last 24 hours for a total of 463,084 since the pandemic began.

The death toll now sits at 797.
