WINNIPEG – A 32 year-old Winnipeg man was charged with multiple firearms offences after he was arrested inside a rooming house with a shotgun.
Police and the Tactical Support Team arrived at the Agnes Street rooming house just before 8 am on April 5 and immediately evacuated the area after hearing reports of the man armed with a shotgun inside.
While clearing the residence, Tactical Support Team members located the suspect who had an outstanding warrant. Upon searching for additional people, officers located a .22 calibre loaded sawed-off shotgun and ammunition.
A search was later executed at inside the residence and officers located and seized:
.22 calibre sawed-off rifle loaded with a 25 round ammunition clip
12 gauge sawed-off shotgun which was found the have been stolen on April 1, 2019, during and break and enter in Winnipeg.

20 rounds of .22 calibre ammunition
32 year-old Adrian Levi Scott has been charged with:
Store Firearm or Restricted Weapon Contrary to Regs.
Possession of a Loaded Prohibited or restricted Firearm
Possession of a Firearm, Restricted /Prohibited Weapon or Ammunition Contrary to Prohibition Order X4
Possession of a Firearm, Prohibited or Restricted Weapon Obtained by Crime
Fail to Comply with Probation Order X3
Possession of a Prohibited Device or Ammunition Knowing its Possession is Unauthorized X2
Possession of a Firearm Knowing its Possession is Unauthorized X2
An outstanding warrant for Fail to Comply with Probation was also executed.
He has been detained at the Winnipeg Remand Centre.
