30 year-Old Arrested for 9 separate B&E’s

WINNIPEG – Police arrested a Winnipeg man last night being investigated for 9 separate break and enter incidents in the city.

30 year-old Derek Penney is suspected of Break and Enters thats were between December 4, 2018 and January 16, 2019. They include: B&E on Sage Creek, Theft on York Avenue, Two B&E’s on Whellams Lane, four B&E’s and theft on Watson Street and two B&E’s on North Point Blvd.

He faces charges for:

Possess Firearm, Restricted/Prohibited Weapon or Ammunition Contrary to Prohibition Order X2

Fail to Comply with Recognizance X8

Possess Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000

Possess Break In Instrument(s)

Theft Under $5000

Break and Enter with Intent X4

Break, Enter and Theft X9

Fail to Comply with Probation Order

He has been held at the Winnipeg Remand Centre.
