Ile Des Chenes, MB. – A 30-year-old woman died in a fire in Ile Des Chenes on Sunday, December 31.

St. Pierre Jolys RCMP responded to a trailer fire at a residence located on Bonneteau Avenue in the community of Ile Des Chenes Sunday, December 31 around 8:10 am.

In a news release, RCMP said that when officers arrived, smoke was seen coming from the trailer. Police saw firefighters exiting the residence carrying a 30-year-old female who was later pronounced dead at the scene. No other injuries were reported.
