30-Year-Old Woman Stabs Man Multiple Times

WINNIPEG, MB – A 30-year-old woman has been charged with stabbing a Winnipeg man multiple times after he gave her a ride to Landmark.

St. Pierre-Jolys RCMP said on March 20, they received a report of a man who was stabbed on Main Street in Landmark. When police arrived the victim had already been taken to hospital, but the suspect was lying on the side of the road.

Police believe the female suspect was intoxicated and asked for a ride from Winnipeg to Landmark. The 46-year-old male victim from Winnipeg was heading in that direction and agreed to provide the her with a ride. When they arrived in Landmark, she then stabbed the victim in the upper body. During a struggle he was stabbed several more times. Eventually he was able to remove her from the vehicle. The man received serious, but non-life threatening injuries.

The 30-year-old woman from Winnipeg was not injured and has been charged with Aggravated Assault.
