WINNIPEG, MB. – A Winnipeg man is arrested and charged for breaking into the Public Safety Building.
Police said in a release, a male suspect, Wesley Manford Wadien, 34-years-old of Winnipeg, broke in and gained entry to the to the Public Safety Building at 151 Princess Street. The Break in occurred around 8:15 PM on December 20th.
Police were made aware of the break in when an alarm was triggered in the building. The Tactical Support Team searched the building and located Wadien inside the building where he was taken into custody.
Police also learned that there was an arrest warrant for Wadien from an incident where a vehicle was stolen from an address in the RM of Springfield in early November 2016.
Police said Wadien has been charged with :
– Break & Enter with Intent – Place
– Possession of Property Obtained by Crime over $5,000
– Fail to Comply with Probation Order (x2)
