WINNIPEG – The province is reporting four deaths today from COVID-19, all of them in Winnipeg.

There are 81 new cases of the virus.

1,582 cases are active, 28,140 people have recovered, for a total of 30,588 cases so far.

240 Manitobans are in hospital right now, 29 of them in the ICU.

The five day test positivity rate in the province is 4.8 per cent. Winnipeg’s rate is an even four. 1,972 tests were done in the last 24 hours for a total of 497,691 since the pandemic began.

The death toll now sits at 866.
