WINNIPEG – The province is reporting five deaths today from COVID-19, all of them in Winnipeg.

There are also 151 new cases of the virus, including 73 in Winnipeg.

4,728 cases are active, 20,850 people have recovered, for a total of 26,316 cases so far.

322 Manitobans are in hospital right now, 36 of them in the ICU.

The five day test positivity rate in the province is 10 per cent. Winnipeg’s rate is 9.2. 1,539 tests were done in the last 24 hours for a total of 438,951 since the pandemic began.

The death toll now sits at 738.
