5 Deaths, 191 Cases

WINNIPEG – The province is reporting five deaths today from COVID-19, three of them in Winnipeg.

There are 191 new cases of the virus, including 71 in Winnipeg. Cases in the north are high again at 84.

2,907 cases are active, 23,478 people have recovered, for a total of 27,145 cases so far.

284 Manitobans are in hospital right now, 35 of them in the ICU.

The five day test positivity rate in the province is 10 per cent. Winnipeg’s rate is 7.2. 2,025 tests were done in the last 24 hours for a total of 448,061 since the pandemic began.

The death toll now sits at 760.
