MANITOBA – A 51-year-old man died in a single vehicle accident said RCMP in Grand Rapids.

Saturday Grand Rapids RCMP responded to a single-vehicle rollover on Highway 6, approximately ten kilometers north of Devils Lake.

Police said they determined that a SUV, being driven by a 58-year-old woman from Nelson House, was heading northbound when it lost control and entered the ditch and rolled. The road conditions were at the time of the accident were reported to be icy.

The 51-year-old male passenger, also from Nelson House, was pronounced dead on scene. RCMP said the driver and passenger were both wearing seatbelts and alcohol is not a factor in the collision.
