WINNIPEG – A 53 year-old woman has died after a domestic dispute in the West end.

On November 21st at 7:10 am., a woman was reported injured in the 3000 block of Portage Avenue. She was transported to the hospital with critical injuries and was not expected to live.

Several people who lived at the same address reported that the victim had been assaulted as a result of a domestic dispute.

Police then arrested 50 year-old Calvin Oliver Harper and charged him with aggravated assault.

On November 23rd, the victim, Annie Little passed away as a result of her injuries.

After consultation with the Crown, Calvin Harper was re-arrested and charged with Manslaughter. He remains in custody at the Winnipeg Remand Centre.
