WINNIPEG – The province is reporting seven deaths today from COVID-19, six of them in Winnipeg.

There are also 130 new cases of the virus, including 77 in Winnipeg.

4,427 cases are active, 20,252 people have recovered, for a total of 25,374 cases so far.

339 Manitobans are in hospital right now, 40 of them in the ICU.

The five day test positivity rate in the province is 10.7 per cent. Winnipeg’s rate is 11.5 per cent. 1,264 tests were done in the last 24 hours for a total of 428,753 since the pandemic began.

The death toll now sits at 695.
