WINNIPEG – RCMP in Powerview have determined the discovery of an 80-year-old man in his home on Sunday is a homicide.

Mounties said that at 10:00AM on May 6th they went to check on a homeowner in Belair, Manitoba. When police arrived the found the 80-year-old male homeowner dead at the scene.

RCMP have determined the death to be a homicide and continue to investigate. There is no threat to public safety in relation to this matter.
