WINNIPEG – The province is reporting nine deaths today from COVID-19. Seven of them are in Winnipeg.

There have also been 107 new cases of the virus, including 43 in Winnipeg.

4,442 cases are active, 19,156 people have recovered, for a total of 24,252 cases so far.

343 Manitobans are in hospital right now, 37 of them in the ICU.

The five day test positivity rate in the province is 12.6 per cent. Winnipeg’s rate is 12.4. 1,076 tests were done in the last 24 hours for a total of 416,970 since the pandemic began.

The death toll now sits at 654.
