BRANDON, MB – Brandon police arrested a 16-year-old for a robbery in the city and a 25-year-old man for a theft on February 10th.
Police said the 16-year-old male from Brandon was arrested on Sunday evening for his part in a Robbery that occurred around 11:00 p.m. on Saturday night. The youth and another male youth sprayed the victim in the face with “bear spray” and stole his watch. This happened in the area of 4th Street and Lorne Avenue.
Saturday, February 10th of Police received a report that a man stole merchandise from a business in the 1000 Block of Victoria Avenue. The theft was caught on video and on Sunday afternoon, Police located the suspect. A 25-year-old man from Brandon was arrested for Theft Under $5000,
A female youth called Police after her boyfriend assaulted her earlier in the evening inside a home on Cornell Bay. The victim sustained minor injuries including cuts and bruising because of the assault. Police located the 17-year-old male suspect and arrested him for Domestic Assault.
