A 20 and 16 Year Old Face Drug Charges in Thompson

THOMPSON, MB. – A 20-year-old man and 16-year-old youth were charged by Thompson RCMP for drugs, paraphernalia and cash.

Late in the evening on December 7 of this year Thompson RCMP executed a search warrant at a home located in the Eastwood area of Thompson.

Police located and seized over two ounces of cocaine, various drug paraphernalia, and a small quantity of Canadian currency and arrested two men at the scene.

20-year-old Tyler Spence, from Thompson, is facing charges of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime, and two counts of Failing to Comply with Conditions of an Undertaking.

Police have also arrested a 16-year-old youth and later released him on court imposed conditions for a January 19 court date in Thompson. He will face charges of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime.
