A Tip to Morden Police Results in the Seizure of Weapons, Drugs, & Cash

MORDEN – Based on a tip, Morden Police, conducted a high-risk traffic stop Tuesday morning that lead to the seizure of weapons, drugs and cash and the arrest of a Morden woman.

Police said they only found drug paraphernalia, however police believed the woman had more at her home and obtained a search warrant. Their hunch was correct. Police searched a home at 303 North Railway Street in Morden.

The search resulted in the following items being seized:

  • 20 grams of methamphetamine
  • 6.8 grams of cocaine
  • 6 containers of various prescription pills including Hydromorphone and Oxycodone
  • digital scale
  • a replica .357 hangun
  • 12 gauge shotgun ammunition

Lisa Michelle Strykiwsky, 38-years-old, from Morden has been charged with:

1. Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (Meth)

2. Possession of a Controlled Substance (Meth)

3. Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (Cocaine)

4. Possession of a Controlled Substance (Cocaine)

5. Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Schedule 1 (x2)

6. Possession of Firearm/Ammunition contrary to Order (x2)

7. Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose

8. Breach of Recognizance (x3)

9. Breach of Probation
