WINNIPEG – Air1 assisted police in tracking down two suspects who assaulted a 26 year-old man with a metal pipe and then robbed him.

On June 6 just after midnight, police were flagged down and advised of an assault in progress. Air1 quickly located the two men on Arlington Street and when police arrived they found the victim nearby and arrested the two suspects along with the metal pipe they had used in the assault.

19 year-old Tyrell Darril Traverse and 22 year-old William Wayne Charles Murdock have been charged with Robbery and Fail to Comply with Recognizance. They were both detained in custody. –
