WINNIPEG, MB – Country legends Alabama are coming to the BellMTS Centre in Winnipeg on August 1, 2018.
Alabama brought country music to the mainstream. Who doesn’t remember “Mountain Music”. They introduced rock style guitars, lights, pyrotechnics and sounds to the country audience. In the 40 years cousins Randy, Jeff and Teddy have been together, the group has sold over 75 million records and have charted 43 #1 singles including such hits as “I’m In A Hurry,” “Dixieland Delight,” “Mountain Music” and “Old Alabama” with Brad Paisley, a record that will likely never be surpassed in any genre.
Tickets go on sale Friday, Feb. 2 at 10 a.m. and start at $45.50 plus fees and are available at ticketmaster.ca.
Canadian artist Charlie Major will be joining Alabama. Charlie is the first Canadian artist in history to score six BDS #1 hits off his debut album. Known for such hits as “(I Do It) For The Money,” “It Can’t Happen To Me” and “I’m Going To Drive You Out Of My Mind.”
