WINNIPEG– Last night an armed 27 year-old man was arrested at a youth resource centre.
On November 23 at 9:20 pm., Police received a report of a man walking with a firearm on Selkirk Avenue. He eventually entered the youth centre where he asked to use the phone.
Police and K-9 located the suspect and he was safely taken into custody. A search revealed an improvised pipe gun loaded with a 12 gauge shotgun shell along with three additional shells.
27 year-old Cody Henry Bousquet has been charged with transporting a restricted firearm, possession of a weapon, carrying a concealed weapon, and other firearm offences.
He was held in custody.
