WINNIPEG – This weekend the City of Winnipeg will hold it’s annual unclaimed bike auction at the Terry Sawchuk Arena, 901 Kimberly Avenue.

Here are the dates and times for the auctions:

Saturday, April 28:

7 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. – public viewing

9 a.m. – auction begins

Sunday, April 29:

10 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. – public viewing

Noon. – auction begins

The City partnered with the Winnipeg Repair Education and Cycling Hub to offer over 250 ready-to-ride bikes. The bikes are tuned up through the UpCycle employment training program.

Proceeds from the purchase of ready-to-ride bikes go towards supporting community bicycle programming across Winnipeg.

All bicycles are sold as is, where is, and no warranty is given nor implied. Cash, MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Interac payments will be accepted. Cheques will not be accepted.
