WINNIPEG – Winnipegger Albert Paupanakis considered himself a very lucky guy when he scratched a lottery ticket and won $10,000.

However, he actually won the 10 grand plus the chance to spin the game’s prize wheel. An additional $500,000 was possible.

So Albert gave the wheel a big spin and in the end, it landed on $175,000.

“I’ve never had the opportunity to buy a home,” he said. “This changes my life.”

By the way, Paupanakis bought the ticket while travelling through Gladstone.
