WINNIPEG, MB. – Manitoba RCMP have charged Earl Moar, 19-years-old in connection to an arson in Crane River.
On January 7 at 12:47 am, Ste. Rose du Lac RCMP responded to an assault and a fire occurring at the same residence in O-Chi-Chak-Ko-Sipi First Nation (Crane River). When police arrived the house was fully engulfed in flames and a reported female victim of the assault was unaccounted for.
Once police were able to enter the home, human remains were found. Those remains have not yet been identified.
RCMP said in a news release that they have arrested Earl Moar, 19 and charged him with Aggravated Assault, Arson with Disregard for Human Life, Assault and Breach of Recognizance x 2.
