UPDATED JULY 4, 2018 AT 5:25PM – RCMP have now confirmed that Danny Berhie Kidane has been located deceased in the creek near the festival site. An autopsy will be conducted.

The RCMP thanks the public and the media for their assistance.

WINNIPEG – There are several reports that the body of Danny Kidane, 24, who was last seen by his friends Saturday at the Dauphin Countryfest grounds, has been located.

“Today is officially the worst day of my life,” Was posted on Facebook by Haben Kidane, who is Danny’s brother. “I lost my [guardian] angel, my rock, my little brother.”

Haben’s post went on to say, “Tell your family how much you love them because you never know when they might leave you,” “Keep watch over us from up there … I never said it enough, I love you … RIP lil bro.”, he said.

At this time the RCMP have not provided any information just confirmation the body was located.
