WINNIPEG – Thursday morning Winnipeg Firefighters pulled an unresponsive person from a fire in the 200 block of Balmoral Street around 7:30 AM.

Police said, the person pulled from the fire was pronounced dead at the scene.

The investigation is still in the preliminary stages and limited information is available at this time.
