WINNIPEG – A building in downtown Winnipeg was evacuated as the Bomb Squad secured a suspicious package.

Police said on November 5th around 11:15 a.m., for precautionary reasons they evacuated a building in the 300 block of Broadway. Members of the Bomb Unit secured the package. At approximately 9:00 p.m., the package was rendered safe and is now being examined.
