WINNIPEG, MB – As the snow continues to melt and with Mark’s CFL Week set to take over Winnipeg next week, Canadian Football League fans in the city are buzzing with excitement to get the 2018 season underway.
With that being said, the Winnipeg Blue Bombers announced Wednesday they’ll be holding a three-day mini-camp taking place in late April, giving fans another reason to get excited.
The camp, which takes place April 24-26, is free to the public, allowing Bomber fans their first opportunity to see a mix of first-year CFL players along with some recently acquired players including receivers Adarius Bowman, Nic Demski, defensive backs Chandler Fenner and Anthony Gaitor, and running back Kienan LaFrance. All quarterbacks currently on the roster will be in attendance at the camp which will be run by Head Coach Mike O’Shea alongside a few other coaching staff members including Offensive Coordinator Paul LaPolice and Defensive Coordinator Richie Hall.
All on-field sessions will be open to the media and public and the location will be announced in early April along with details regarding practice times.
