Bouncer of Nightclub Charged for Nightclub Stabbing of 3 Men

WINNIPEG – As reported on Manitoba Post, three men were taken to hospital suffering from stab wounds, they were found outside a Winnipeg nightclub in the Exchange District.

Police say that the three men were at a private function in the nightclub (same building) on Princess Street when one of the men became involved in a verbal argument with a bouncer.

The man agreed to leave the premise and was escorted outside. The bouncer then produced a knife and began to stab the man. The two other men tried to intervene and were also stabbed.

Two of the victims remain in hospital in stable condition.

Saturday night the bouncer of the nightclub turned himself into police.

Cezleik Nigel Wright, a 37-year-old man from Winnipeg, has been charged with:

– Aggravated Assault (x3)

– Possession of a Weapon
