BRANDON, MB – Brandon police are investigating a stabbing in the city. Police learned that a woman is hospital was suffering stab wounds. The woman is in stable condition and police are investigating.
Police responded to a disturbance at an apartment in the 600 Block of Douglas Street. A male and female were found to have bitten each other causing teeth impressions on the other person. The male and female are involved in a domestic relationship. The 24-year-old female and 23-year-old male were both arrested for Domestic Assault.
Police stopped an intoxicated male walking in the 100 Block of 10th Street. Officers found a can of bear mace in the jacket pocket of the man. The 21-year-old man from Brandon was arrested for Possession of a Prohibited Weapon.
A resident of an apartment in the 600 Block of Lorne Avenue reported returning home to find the apartment broken into and two 46-inch televisions stolen. It is believed that entry was gained through the front door. The Break and Enter occurred sometime after 4:30 p.m. There are no suspects or witnesses at this time and Police continue to investigate.
