BRANDON, MB – A 20-year old male driver was arrested for impaired driving after being stopped by police for speeding on 1st Street. He admitted to consuming one beer but subsequently failed a breathalyzer. He will attend court later this month.
A 27-year old man known to police was observed walking on Pacific Avenue. A check revealed he had an outstanding Canada Wide Warrant for Suspension of Statutory Release so he was arrested and held until he appears in court.
A 16-year old female was found by police walking on Cornwallis Crescent at 2:55 AM and found to have two outstanding warrants and failing to abide by a curfew. She was arrested and held to appear in court.
A youth foster care home reported that a resident and a staff member were assaulted by another resident by punching them in the face. Both victims were transported to hospital and released after receiving medical treatment. The 14-year old male youth suspect was arrested for Assault X 2 and was released to the custody of another youth care facility with a Court date in April.
