Brandon Dealing With Break and Enters

BRANDON, MB – Brandon police arrest a 35-year-old for a break and enter and continue to investigate two others that happened Thursday or Friday of last week.

Police said a construction site in the 4100 block of Victoria Ave was broken into sometime overnight between February 22 – 23rd. The Suspect(s) broke into a work trailer stealing tools, and then broke into the building and took construction materials. This incident remains under investigation.

A shed in the 600 Block of Rosser Ave East was also broken into sometime overnight on Thursday February 22 – 23rd. A set of golf clubs, lawn furniture, and a quantity of cash was stolen. This incident also remains under investigation.

On Saturday morning around 3:30am, police noticed an open garage in the 400 block of 6th St, and then discovered that it had been broken into. While investigating, police found a man in the area who was in possession of some of the items stolen from the garage. A 35 year old Brandon man was arrested and charged with Possession of Property Obtained by Crime, as well as Failing to attend Court on a previous matter.
