BRANDON, MB – Police have charged a Brandon man for Sexual Interference with his step grandson.

Police said this month they began an investigation after receiving information that a man repeatedly sexually assaulted his step grandson when the boy was between the ages of three and five years old.

During the investigation police learned that the suspect also sexually assaulted his step daughter, the mother to the step grandson. The alleged offences on the step grandson occurred between 2011 and 2014 and the alleged offences on the step daughter occurred between 1994 and 2007.

Wednesday police arrested a 61-year-old Brandon man for Sexual Assault, Sexual Interference, Sexual Exploitation and Invitation to Sexual Touching.
