BRANDON – Friday night around 11:00PM a man in his mid-30’s was stabbed in the neck on Rosser Avenue.

Police said the stabbing occurred following an altercation in the in 900 Block of Rosser Avenue. The suspect, a 32-year old woman from Brandon was arrested a short time later near the scene.

The man was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police confirmed in a release that the man and woman are known to each other. The woman was released on a promise to appear for court on July 05, 2018 to be charged with assault with a weapon.
