Earth Day Spring Cleaning at the Park | Saturday, April 20
We are looking for community volunteers to help clean up leftover trash from winter. This is a meaningful way to learn about the environmental impact of litter and show your love for the Park.
Volunteers are encouraged to register in advance online. Children are welcome with supervision from a parent or adult guardian. All necessary clean up supplies will be provided. Crews will be organized and supervised by experienced Assiniboine Park Conservancy volunteers. All participants will be entered into a draw to win a $100 Park and Zoo gift card.
Volunteers are asked to meet at the Riley Family Duck Pond shelter at 10:00 a.m. Clean-up will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Volunteers are encouraged to bring a reusable water bottle and dress for the weather. The event will proceed rain or shine!
