WINNIPEG – The Assiniboine Park Conservancy is thrilled to present an exciting line-up of entertainment and activities during the second half of the inaugural Zoo Lights Festival.
“Zoo Lights Festival is the perfect place to gather with friends and family over the winter break,” said Lindsay Hughes, Assiniboine Park Conservancy. “The lighting displays are beautiful, there’s great food, and the nightly entertainment is outstanding. People come for the lights, but they come back for the festival!”
Zoo Lights Festival features over 1,000,000 lights in stunning displays on the west side of the Zoo. There is great food, music and entertainment in the Town Hall (a heated event tent), activities and shopping in Market Square (another heated event tent), roving carolers and fire dancers, a blacksmith forge, custom art installations, and Indigenous storytelling and cultural teachings.
