WINNIPEG – Police and conservation officers spent a long day yesterday monitoring and tracking a black bear in Charleswood.
Posts on social media dubbed him #CharlieTheBear.
This Twitter photo was taken and posted by @walsht when the bear, likely two or three years old, climbed up a tree in the 600 block of Pepperloaf Crescent near Rannock Avenue.
Charlie eventually came down late last night and left the area on his own with conservation tracking him along the Assiniboine River.
